We are very excited to announce our partnership with Accenture Ireland, which will see the introduction and development of an ongoing internship programme between us. This announcement comes on the heels of Accenture Interactive’s name change to Accenture Song.
“This week Accenture Interactive announced a new name; Accenture Song, signalling a dedication to helping clients achieve business growth through sustained customer relevance. To do this, we need the best user experience and design talent out there,” says Nichola Wolfe, Accenture Song’s Experience Design Manager.
Recognising that these skills are within the top 5 most in-demand skills in the industry right now, we are absolutely delighted to announce a partnership with the UX Design Institute and to announce the launch of the UX Design Internship Programme.
Accenture is an Ireland-based, multinational company that specialises in information technology and consulting. With almost 699,000 employees worldwide, Accenture works as one team by embracing change and implementing a strong set of core values to design, build, communicate and run meaningful experiences at the intersection of purpose and innovation.
Nichola adds that the partnership between the UX Design Institute and Accenture Song will enhance the experience for users, customers and employees alike:
“88% of c-suite executives say that customers and employees are changing faster than they can change their business. This partnership has been forged to meet the ever-growing demand of organisations to remain relevant in this environment. We aim to continuously expand our capabilities and bringing in the best, market-ready UX graduates to our team is a significant aspect of that effort.”
We believe this relationship will be massively valuable in helping to connect great talent with major organisations who see design-led transformation as a priority.
Starting this summer, our graduates will join the Accenture Song team in their Dublin office. Here, they will work with diverse teams, solving design problems and collaborating on client-facing programmes across multiple industries.
Kelly Igoe, our Student Success Lead, says:
“This is such an incredible opportunity for our students and the Accenture Song team. We have so many talented people emerging from the UX Design Institute and we are so delighted to see that Accenture has recognised this.”
The UX Design Institute and Accenture Song Internship Programme is a great source of motivation for our students, knowing that they can reach genuine employment goalposts shortly after graduating, and it proves that Accenture is serious about an excellent user experience and the future of design.
Our graduates will join a team of world-class strategists, creatives, technologists and designers to design and deliver experiences across every device, platform and medium, all with the aim to help clients achieve human-centred business growth.
By combining their learned skills to a multifaceted working environment, our graduates will gain first-hand insights into the value and future of excellent design on a global scale.
Nichola explains the importance of design in an ever-changing world:
For us, it’s not about the future of design, we believe the future is design.
