Tell us a bit about your career before you studied UX with us?

I trained in traditional design practices and my experience was mostly in web design and even print work.

Why did you want to learn more about UX?

There were a few reasons. Firstly, as a designer, I was interested in how things work and how users were interacting with products I was designing.

Secondly, I could see the focus of design practitioners, and the community itself, was moving more towards user centered design and I was keen to jump in and learn more.

Why did you choose to study UX with us?

I had seen some great resources from the company online as well as hearing some great words from fellow designers who were alumni.

Since completing the course, how has your career progressed?

I have since progressed to being a UX Manager for one of the world’s biggest companies, helping build products by speaking to real users and applying core principles I learned from the course.

Would you recommend the course to others? Why?

Absolutely. I found the teaching method to be concise and incredibly insightful. I learned a lot by implementing the practical experiments taught in the course.

In one word, how would you describe your experience on the course?

Fun.
